About me
Dr. Rosny Daniel is a specialist in caring for patients in the emergency department. His expertise includes resuscitation; treating physical injuries; and managing cardiovascular, neurological, psychiatric and social emergencies.
Daniel's research focuses on health care education and equity. He helps develop education and training programs that enable the medical community to provide holistic care with humility. He strives to understand how the social identities of his patients and colleagues affect their experiences and has a particular interest in working with those from marginalized communities.
Daniel earned his medical degree at UCSF, where he also completed a residency in emergency medicine and a fellowship in medical education.
Daniel enjoys surfing, traveling, sightseeing, learning about science, cooking, hosting theme parties, solving crossword puzzles, and watching magic shows, rom-coms and stand-up comedy. Having such broad interests drew him to emergency medicine because he loves being surprised at work, problem-solving and building new connections every day.
